I love the acoustic version of this song. there are only a few singers talented enough to sing acoustic these days and ingrid is one of the best. See her live if you get the chance she is great and very funny
  • Michaelson is always fantastic

To Captain23rd - blatant ripoff of Charlie Simpson? I'm not sure how that can be possible since she wrote and recorded the song BEFORE him. Figure that one out for me. To mrmacdnyc - to each their own. I, however, think Ingrid has more heartbreaking emotion than most contemporary artists out there. Perhaps you've not deeply listened to her other stuff. To me - she is brilliant, and Parachute became my #1 played song within 2 months of downloading it. Thankfully, the acoustic version, which was up one day gone the next, is finally up for real. And it is a treat.
  • Fantastic!!!

Blatant Ripoff of Charlie Simpson - Parachutes. 'Nuff said.
  • Stick with the Cheryl Cole Version

Michaelson has made a career of singing without much emotion. At least in Cole's version the singer sounds as if she means what she says.
